Rev. Dr. Jeremy J. Abernathy

Pastor Jeremy J. Abernathy is a visionary leader and devoted servant of Christ, committed to spiritual growth, family empowerment, and community transformation. Growing up in West Cobb County, he graduated from John McEachern High School in 1997 before going on to earn degrees from several distinguished institutions: a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College (2001), a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law (2005), a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University (2013), and a Doctorate of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary (2024).

As the Lead Pastor of Noonday Missionary Baptist Church, his passion for teaching, preaching, and shepherding has helped guide the congregation in faith and service. Pastor Abernathy is deeply devoted to equipping individuals with the spiritual tools to live out their God-given purpose and strengthening both families and communities.

In addition to his ministry, Pastor Abernathy is a founding partner of Abernathy Ditzel Hendrick LLC, a respected family law firm based in Marietta, GA. He also serves as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Woodstock, GA, a role he has held since 2021. His leadership across both ministry and the legal field demonstrates a unique blend of spiritual discernment and professional excellence—bridging the gap between faith and civic responsibility.

Pastor Abernathy’s civic and professional involvement includes being a graduate of the Leadership Cobb Class of 2022, Chair of the State Bar of Georgia Family Law Section, and President of the Cobb County Bar Association Family Law Section. He also serves as a Board Trustee at Mount Paran Christian School and is an active member of the Marietta chapter of Kiwanis. His community engagement further extends through membership in the Morehouse Football Alumni Association and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.

Pastor Abernathy is married to Tiffany Abernathy, and together they are the proud parents of three daughters: Havalynn, Shaw, and Emory. In his free time, he enjoys making memories with his family and playing softball.
